This auction is for a 2001
Suzuki Bandit 1200, previously 1200S. I
bought the bike new in 2001.
-The bike started out with
fairing but I switched it over to the dual
headlamps from Bandit Mania in
October of 2005. The stock
bulbs have been replaced with halogen bulbs
for brighter lights. I still have the
original fairing and hardware that will come with
the bike and can still be re-attached.
-The handlebars and handle bar
clamps were removed and replaced with
clip-ons. I do not have the original
handlebars but the clamps can be easily
re-installed along with
handlebars.
-I've installed footpeg
relocation brackets that move the footpegs back
and up. Those can be removed and the
footpegs can be place back in their origianal
position if that is what is preferred.
-I've raised the rearend of
the bike up with shorter dog bones. I
have the original dogbones that can be
replaced if original height is desired.
-I've replaced the stock shock
with a shock from a Suzuki Hayabusa for a stiffer
rear-end. I still have the original shock if
that is desired.
-The exhaust end can has been
replaced with a D&D Black Satin pipe.
There has been no engine modification to the bike
so the stock exhaust can still be used if
desired. Sock exhaust can will come with the
bike as well.
- Both front and
rear tires were changed in 2006 with Pirelli
Diablos. I love those tires! If you
would like to know about mileage of tires, just
email me and I'll let you know. The receipt
for the tire change is a box of files. I'm
in the process of moving so I didn't have it
handy. I'd be happy to find that info for
you. Off the top of my head I'd say there
are less then 1,000 miles on the tires.
-The rear fender has been chopped for a better
look. Both the license plate and inspection
sticker fit under the rear as shown in
pictures.
-I've painted, unsuccessfully, the headers and
mid-pipe black but the paint job did not hold, as
shown in the pictures.
I will pay, out of my pocket, to
have the headers and mid-pipe powder-coated
to look like new, whatever color you like
(dependent on what colors are
avaliable).
-Included is a tank bra from Suzuki purchased
in 2006
-Included is a motorcycle cover as shown in the
picture
-Included is a tank bag with map pouch, tail
bag, and saddle bag (all black)
A $500.00 deposit through PayPal is
required within 24 hours at the end of
the auction. Final payment is due within 7
days of the auction. Final payment may be in
the form of PayPal, money order,
certified cashiers check, or cash. A
personal check will be ok but the check must clear
prior to pick up or delivery.
I will ship the bike at the buyers cost but I
am also willing to drive part way (at my
cost) to meet buyer, depending on
milage. Payment must be made in full prior
to pick-up
